სიბრძნემან და ძალმან და

თანადაუსაბამომან დაუსაბამოჲსა მამისამან

არავე აკმაა შობაჲ ქალწულისაგან
9
უბიწოჲსა და გუემსგავსა,
10
თჳნიერ ცოდვისა, განგებულებითა და
11
ჯერ-ჩინებითა სულისა წმიდისაჲთა,
12
რომელი გამოვალს დაუსაბამოჲ თანაარსებით
13
დაუსაბამოჲსა მამისაგან,
14
და გამოიცადებოდა ეშმაკისაგან სიტყუაჲ
15
ღმრთისაჲ, კაცქმნილი ნეფსით,
16
და ივნო ჩუენთჳს სიკუდილითა ჯუარისაჲთა,
17
რომლითა განიკურნა ცთომილებაჲ
18
ხისამიერი, და მოგუენიჭა
19
უკუდავებაჲ ცხოველსმყოფელითა აღდგომითა
20
მისითა, რომლითა დაითრგუნა
21
ეშმაკი დასითურთ მისით.
22
ამანვე წმიდანი თჳსნი, სათნო ყოფილნი
23
ღმრთეებისა მისისანი, ცხრანივე
24
დასნი წმიდათა ანგელოზთანი და
25
მეათენი კაცთანი, – პირველსა სჯულსა
26
შინა: მამადმთავართა და წინაჲსწარმეტყუელთანი,
27
ახალსა შინა: მოციქულთა

და მღდელთმოძღუართანი,

Wisdom, and Power – who is co-eternal
7
and consubstantial with the without beginning Father
8
did not deem it sufficient, but was born
9
of the undefiled Virgin and became like us,
10
without sin, by the providence and
11
loving-kindness of the Holy Spirit,
12
who proceeds co-eternally and consubstantially
13
from the unbegotten Father.

The Word of God,
15
incarnate by His own will,
16
and suffered for us by death on the cross,
17
thereby healing the sin
18
originating from the tree and granting us
19
immortality by His Life-giving Resurrection,
20
by which the devil and his host
21
were trampled down.
22
He also, for our intercession, appointed His saints,
23
who were made pleasing upright by His Divinity
24
– the nine orders of holy angels and
25
the tenth, that of men: in the Old Testament
26
– the Patriarchs and Prophets,
27
in the New Testament – the Apostles
28
and Hierarchs,
29
the Martyrs and the Holy Fathers
